Here's more information. I only got the receipt numbers. The package arrived at NSC on 7/3 and recieved by R. Williams at 9:03am. My I-140 was approved at TSC last year. I live in NSC area. Receipt numbers started with LIN, so the cases were not transferred to TSC. I hope this means that they're processing the box for 9:03 on 7/3.

Firstly let me say that the Dems taking the house is the only hope I see for change near term. If the Republicans take it then they will feel vindicated on their stand and stick to it especially in view of the current unpopularity of Pres. Bush.
Democrats normally sing the tune of organised labour on such issues. Organised labour is clear that they want the immigrants that come not to be exploited. In otherwords, if you let them come then treat them well as they are now part of the labour pool. This idea has some intrinsic merit. If you analyse things, it is usually during the long drawn out protracted green card process that unscrupulous employers take the most advantage.
Indeed the deluge of illegals will be a blight on the processing times, however without visa numbers there is absolutely no hope for EB India in the near term anyway. We have to hope for the lesser of two evils now.
Sen Byron Dorgan is always on Lou Dobbs show. He does not represent the majority view of the democratic party. I think he is making all sorts of noises to fight for his political life.

Did you ask Attorney what happens if your employer still choose to Sue you? My friend's attorney told most of cases will be settled, but we might loose money up to 10K. Is it woth it doing? Also if we choose to fight, we might have to attend hearing (may be in different state based on your agreement). I am an employee too, and with you on this. I'd say if attorney guarentees he'll win our case we can go ahead.

I know Spouse's PD will be same as Primary's PD . But good for people who filled 485. If person has latest PD let says Aug 2007 (Eb2 india ) .. Under Eb category he may be able to file 485. But dependent may not be able to file 485 as Family quota is backlogged. Family quota also has PD and category. Under which category spouses of primary will fall ? F2A ? F2B ? do you know this ?

that Senior Members would be more involved in posting on this website. Story of my life. I complain about delay with my application. Someone joins me and tells me they are in the same boat and the very next day that someone leaves the boat and jumps into "greener" pastures. Everyone is leaving the boat and I seem to be left out :(

Did you file I-140/I-485 concurrently. Where is employer's office location? and your residency?
I have filed I-140/I-485 concurrently on July 25th at Nebraska, my employer and my residence come under Texas Service centre according to new direct filing instructions.
I am in NJ and my employer too, and yes 140-485-765 concurrently..and I just checked the 140 file and it was updated 8-12-07...Do you guys think this is related to notices of action??? :confused:
