I am planning on moving from Company A to Company B. I have an approved I-140 from Company A which was approved in Sept 2007 and also applied for 485 on July 2nd 2007. It has been almost 1.5 yrs since I applied for 485 and I-140 approval.
Planning to move from Company A to Company B. Company A will not revoke my I-140 that is for sure. I am moving to a good company with 1000+ workforce and in an upcoming industry. It is not a consulting firm. It is a product based company. My wife is currently on EAD and is relying on it to work.
What are the odds that my AC21 may be wrongfully denied. I am having a hard time sleeping while thinking about this. I am on my H1. Can she still use her EAD while we file a petition for Motion to Reopen in the event that the 485 is wrongfully denied or does she have to change to H4 immediatly.
Can some one share your thoughts.

Chandu just mentioned that some means of contacting him is made. But he is very pivotal for this . As hez Obama campaign chairman , Senate No. 2 Ranking Democrat. His support or non-support is very crucial to support or not supporting any legislation now and if Obama comes in to picture obviously he will have better hold. hi, thanks for info. But one more question. Yes, now and then a date in Oct' 2006 is showing up. But, it will take time to fill all the forms after i proceed. What are the chances that i will get that date when other people are competing in real-time? Please post a reply.

Hi,
There are 2 processing centers - Atlanta and Chicago...but all the audited cases can be processed only at Atlanta, i.e chicago audited cases will be transferred to Atlanta....
I believe there is only one processing center for PERM now. Only Atlanta is doing the PERM processing. All cases are trasfered to atlanta from chicago. Thats what I heared from Ron Gocher.

Our lawyer Company has decided to file the AOS application in July
I work for a big 5 Software company & our lawyer Littler Global had taken a stand on July that they will not file our AOS application after the June VB was revoked/amended on July 2nd.
Surprisingly , today we have received a mail from them that that keeping in view our best interest they have decided to file our AOS case in July regardless of CIS receipting them.
Wanted to share this information as it may be helpful for you folks too ...

Think the decission could have influenced after the Tuesday's Aila Conf. Call. My Attorney finally gave updates that they would have all the 485's completed and ready to go while monitoring the situation and action of AILA/USCIS and will file if is of the best interest to the applicant. Also, the reason they are holding back now is also, what if, USCIS neither receipts nor rejects the applications and hold them and argue they cannot take an action as the cases are subject to litigation.... then it could be even worse.... Any thoughts on this...Folks share your communication with your attorney's if any details worth sharing.

This turned out to be FP notice.
I moved to new place before I have recieved FP notice. My Attorney sent their copy and I finished FP.
The FP notice copy which I recieved earlier at my old address is returned to USCIS and they have re-sent it to my new address......which is nothing but updated as "Document mailed to Applicant" online in USCIS website

The illegals aren't Americans either and the email from Kennedy's staff basically talks about how well-received his Apr 10th speech in DC was and how the senator intends to fight to push immigration reform through the congress.
A lot of people signing up will give the staff the right impetus.
Appu can you pls post some link or documentation showing that this is indeed in our favour. If it is then i have no problem supporting it. But from the looks of it, it seems like it is against H1Bs and temporary workers.
Let us pls be careful as to what we sign/support. A couple of mistakes could spell disaster for all of us.

Are you suggesting that I must exit/re-enter with the new H1B (even if the approval accompanies a I-94 or not - both scenarios) ?
I was planning for that in the worst case, to exit/re-enter through Canada.

It appears your lawyer did not do this. So make sure he does it right this time or find a different lawyer. You can also do it yourself by learning the procedure from others who went through the same pains.

well the short answer is i like the light picture better. now i am sure that is not all your after is which one but also why. to me the photo is just jumping out at me more dark images have there place but for this particular type of image i think the lighter pictures lend better to flowers

(1) Talk to your lawyer and see what he says. If your attorney wants to follow up with this officer and ask him why he needs everything from 1999, he might give a better answer.
(2) Get a letter from the IRS saying that they do not have copies of the old returns.
